Zenko has unveiled its new series of micro-diameter capillary tubes, designed to deliver unmatched precision for demanding applications in medical devices, analytical instrumentation, chromatography, and micro-fluidic systems. The company now offers capillary tubing in stainless steel (304, 316L), copper, and PTFE-lined variants.
Key specifications
Key specifications include outer diameters as small as 0.2mm with wall thicknesses down to 0.05mm, and length tolerances of ±0.1mm.
Using a proprietary drawing and annealing process, Zenko eliminates surface micro-cracks and burrs, ensuring laminar flow consistency and non-reactive internal surfaces.
For medical applications, electropolished and passivated options are available to meet biocompatibility standards (ISO 10993).
“As medical and lab equipment becomes miniaturized, the demand for defect-free capillary tubes has skyrocketed. Our production line includes laser measurement feedback loops that adjust drawing parameters in real time,” a company representative explained. “We can also supply pre-cut, deburred, and cleaned tubes in sterile packaging, ready for insertion into catheters, nebulizers, or gas chromatographs.”
Zenko supports custom orders with no minimum quantity for prototyping, followed by scalable production up to millions of units per month. Every lot is accompanied by a certificate of analysis (COA) including dimensional and surface roughness data.
